We process the following types of data: • Transactions from the bank statements you upload: date, text and amount. That text typically contains the names of shops, subscriptions and your employer. • The entire PDF file, if you upload your statement as a PDF. • Your email address, if you create an account. • Payment details when you buy. Stripe handles these; we never see your card details. • Household information you enter yourself, such as housing type and number of children. • Name, email address and message if you use the contact or withdrawal form. We do not collect bank logins, national ID numbers or other sensitive personal data.

Your data is processed solely for the following purposes: • Calculating your real disposable income • Generating reports for your bank or advisor • Categorizing your transactions • Communication about your account and the service We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use Lovable AI Gateway with Google’s Gemini model for document reading, category suggestions and explanations. Processing may take place outside the EU/EEA. PDF files are first read on our server. If ordinary text extraction is insufficient, the file or text may be forwarded to the service. If you select automatic categorisation on the transactions page, text, amounts and internal ids are processed for transactions not categorised manually. The result-page explanation automatically uses totals, monthly figures and spending categories, including without an account or payment. The data handling page describes the information each feature uses. The amounts themselves are calculated using fixed arithmetic rules.

Processing of your personal data is based on the following grounds: • Consent: You actively consent by uploading your data • Contract: Processing is necessary to provide the agreed service • Legitimate interests: Improving our service and security You can withdraw your consent at any time.

How long we keep things: • Transaction data: for as long as you have an account holding it. There is no automatic deletion after a set number of days. You can delete it yourself at any time. • If you upload without being logged in, we do not store your transactions. They stay in your browser until you clear them. • Payment history: 5 years, under Danish bookkeeping law. • Reports: until you delete them or your account. • Contact and withdrawal submissions: if the submission uses the same email address as your account, it is deleted with the account. Submissions sent without an account are not automatically linked to a user profile; contact us for access or erasure. When you delete your account, we remove account-linked transactions, uploads, reports, profile data and submissions using the same email address. Payment history may be retained as stated above. Anonymized statistics containing no personal data may be kept.

Under GDPR, you have the following rights: • Right of access to your personal data • Right to rectification of incorrect information • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") • Right to data portability • Right to object to processing • Right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority Contact us to exercise your rights.

The following providers process information to deliver Reelt: • Supabase: database and login, with the database in the EU. • Lovable: website hosting and AI Gateway. • Google: the Gemini model for document reading, category suggestions and explanations. • Stripe: payment processing. For document reading, Lovable and Google may receive the whole PDF or extracted text. Chosen automatic categorisation processes relevant transactions’ text, amounts and internal ids. Automatic explanations use information including totals, monthly figures and spending categories, including without an account or payment. Processing by these services may take place outside the EU/EEA. See the data handling page for the full description. We do not sell your financial information or use it for ad targeting.
